Meet our Leaders

Pastor Michael E. Bush

Pastor Michael is a native Washingtonian, born and raised in Southeast, Washington, DC.

In June 2009, Minister Michael received his diploma of ministerial studies from Spirit of Faith Bible Institute, Brandywine, Maryland where Doctors Michael and Deedee Freeman preside.

In November 2009, the leadership of Covenant Family Worship Center of Fredericksburg, Virginia heard from the Lord to ordain Minister Michael E. Bush as Elder to do greater works for the Kingdom of God and the Body of Christ. To expand his knowledge base on Kingdom living and obtain a deeper understanding of the Holy Spirit, he attended Christian International Ministries Network, graduating the program after completing courses in ministering spiritual gifts.

In February 2012, Elder Michael and his loving wife (Pastor Lady Raychel) accepted the faith assignment to launch Fresh Manna Ministries, Inc. (FMMI) on August 9, 2012. Two years later, FMM's doors opened to the public on February 26, 2014. The birthing of a vision brought forth the establishment of "Believers in Christ - New Identity."

Pastor Michael believes in God the Father, God the Son (Jesus the Christ) and God the Holy Spirit; better known as the Trinity/Godhead and through faith in Jesus' name is the only way to obtain eternal salvation. Pastor Michael shares ministerial life with his lovely wife Pastor Lady Raychel G. Bush of Houston, Texas. They have been experiencing marital bliss for 30 years.

On September 14, 2018, Pastor Michael and Lady Raychel, blessed with their new faith assignment as Senior Pastors of Covenant Family Worship Center, where Pastors "Emeritus" John E. and Leatha Hardy (Founders) presided. Five years later on January 1, 2024, the church name changed to “Fresh Manna Worship Center (FMWC), the church for training and reigning in life through Jesus Christ.”  God’s anointing, vision, mission, and purpose is on this church. When attending service at Fresh Manna Worship Center, the Christ in you, which is the hope of glory is all around. The Lord of Breakthroughs lives and abides with us. Amen! Remember, Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Heavenly Father.

Pastor Raychel G. Bush

Minister Raychel, a native of greater Houston, Texas, an alum of Ross S. Sterling High School and Maryland University, and a Retired U.S. Army Soldier of 22 Years.

Minister Raychel heard the whisper of God calling her to join His eternal Army. She pursued the call by attending Spirit of Faith Bible (Faith City Central) Institute, Brandywine, Maryland, where she received her diploma in June 2009 in ministerial studies. Evaluated as a licensed Minister by the leadership of Covenant Family Worship Center of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Raychel accepted the called assignment to represent God as her lifestyle in November 2009. She continued her ministerial education in ministering Spiritual Gifts through the Christian International Ministries Network.

In August 2012, Minister Raychel walked side-by-side with her husband to launch Fresh Manna Ministries Inc. (FMMI), in Stafford, Virginia. While seeking God for a clear view of FMMI vision, she remained diligent in standing on the word of God; trusting the unknow to an all-knowing God. Proverbs 3:5-6 remains the bedrock scriptures she firmly stands on: “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not to your own understanding, in all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.” Two years later, the birthing of a vision brought forth the establishment of "Believers in Christ - New Identity” and The Lord allowed the doors of FMMI to open to receive HIS people in February 2014.

On September 14, 2018, standing as a strong pillar in her faith, Lady Raychel (Minister) and Pastor Michael, accepted their new faith assignment as senior pastors of Covenant Family Worship Center (CFWC) “The Church with the Family Focus.”  On January 1, 2024, the church name changed to Fresh Manna Worship Center (FMWC), with the mission “training and reigning in life through Jesus Christ.”

Co-Pastor Raychel shares a ministerial life with her husband and Pastor Michael E. Bush of Washington D.C; together they have been experiencing marital bliss for 30 years. Their mantra, Jesus is Lord!
